Massive investments into the Algerian energy, building and industrial sectors
Algeria’s 5th electro, automation industrielle & energy in 2011 with major participation
Against the backdrop of massive investments into the Algerian building, construction, industrial and energy sectors and a huge increase in demand for electro-technology and building and industrial automation equipment and solutions, fairtrade organises Algeria’s 5th International Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation and Energy Trade Fair.
electro, automation industrielle & energy will be held at the Palais des Expositions in Algiers - Safex from 28 February to March 03, 2011.
As in previous years, all major companies will again participate. National pavilions are expected from China, Germany, Italy, Iran, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey.
Germany – for the very first time - will organise an official pavilion, sponsored by the German Ministry of Economics and Technology in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and supported by ZVEI - the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association.
The Italian Institute of Trade Promotion (ICE) organises an official Italian pavilion. Spain will be present with a pavilion of Spanish companies organised by AFME - the Spanish Electrical Engineering Association.
With a gdp of US $ 140.8 billion (2009), foreign exchange reserves of US$ 149.0 billion at the end of 2009, and exports of petrochemicals worth US$ 42.8 billion (2009), Algeria is the economic powerhouse on the African continent, ranking third only after South Africa and Nigeria.
electro, automation industrielle & energy exhibitors profit from the second massive investment program worth US$ 150 billion between 2010 and 2014, which helps to develop the country’s infrastructure.
Imports have increased from US $ 26.3 billion in 2007 to US $ 37.99 billion in 2008 and US $ 39.10 billion in 2009. The current construction boom and massive investments into industrial projects and renewable and energy efficient conventional energy solutions contribute to the huge increase in demand for electro-technology, building and industrial automation equipment and energy solutions in Algeria.
To cope with this potential, the leading trade show in the country, electro, automation industrielle & energy 2011, provides an ideal business platform.
The event is organised in three distinct sectors:
- electro 2011: Electrical Engineering, House and Building Automation, Lighting
- automation industrielle 2011: Industrial Automation
- energy 2011: Renewable and Energy Efficient Conventional Energy Solutions
